Q. Does it safe to use Easy Net Switch?
A: Yes! Easy Net Switch works with it's own profiles, all the modification based on the selected profile. It does not change, remove or corrupt your Windows profile. It will also try to verify your computer's software and hardware configuration automatically before activate a profile. This feature will make sure you can easily and safely share profiles with different computers or users.
Q. Which Windows versions does Easy Net Switch support?
A: Easy Net Switch is designed for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 2000.
Q. I want to order more then one licenses, do you offer volume licenses?
A: Yes! Easy Net Switch can be ordered using different type of license. Please check the Order page of website or send us an email to order@easynetswitch.com for more information.
Q. How to change proxy and homepage settings in Mozilla Firefox ®, and Opera?
A. Switch proxy and homepage in Mozilla Firefox is supported but not enabled by default. To enable this function, please select Including Mozilla Firefox in the Option dialog. Easy Net Switch will check if Mozilla Firefox installed in the target computer automatically. Opera's (version 9) default behavior is using the same proxy of Internet Explorer, so if you change it, Opera's proxy will be also changed.
Q. I have multiple network cards and want to configure them with different settings in one profile, is this possible?
A. Yes! Easy Net Switch supports mutiple network cards(/adapters) natively. Not only change IP address but also disable or enable network cards in one profile. You can easily decide which network cards should be modified by check the selected cards' check box. Please refer Network TCP/IP for detail information.
Q. How to join a different domain via Easy Net Switch?
A. Currently Easy Net Switch can only change the workgroup membership via its buildin component. If you want to change your domain membership, please use the free extension named NetDom from Microsoft®, you can download it from following link:

Please extract the right version depends on your system (Windows 2000 or Windows XP) in the ZIP package to your Windows directory.
Usage:
netdom join computername /Domain:Domainname /UserD:Username /PasswordD:Password /Reboot:5
A system restart is always reqired when you change the domain membership.
Note: Normally, join a different domain is not necessary if you only want to use the resource of different domain. You can specify the different user account which has the privilege to access network resource in Easy Net Switch easily, check Drive mapping for detail.
Q. Can I use Easy Net Switch to disable or enable system hidden administrative shares?
A. Yes! But because these hidden administrative shares (such as ADMIN$, C$, D$...) will be used by Windows sometime, we don't want user to miss-configurated them. If you really want to change them, please download a tool from our website, and you can intergreted it into your copy of Easy Net Switch easily.
Q. Where does Easy Net Switch stores profiles? How to backup the profiles?
A. All the profiles store in registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ENetSwitch\. Please note, if you want to back up your profiles or share with other computers/users, we recommend you to use the Export & Import wizard. It's automatic import function will help you to avoid a lot of troubles when import profiles from other computers with different hardware or software installed.
